Spring Clean Challenge

Summer is on it's way

With the feeling that Spring is just around the corner, are you thinking about the long summer nights and digging out those flip flops again?


A great way to begin the new season is to think about a Spring Clean, and I don't just mean dusting off the book shelf and scrubbing the bathroom.


There are other parts of your life that may benefit from a Spring Clean, for instance your finances.

Start by digging out your bank statements for the past few months and review any debts or payments that you may owe. Make a list of things that may need some attention and begin to get your finances on order. To help you do this, look through the statement and see what you are spending your money on and see if you can make any changes. A small change to your spending habits can make a huge difference to the bottom line, but the first step is to become aware of what you are spending.

Now let’s talk Tech. Tech is now a huge part of our lives (whether we like it or not), and your devices could also benefit from a Spring Clean. You can sort and organise your photos, videos and documents to make it easier to safely store and find the most important things to you. You may wish to look into online storage solutions to make your devices run faster and increase the storage capacity on your phone or tablet to keep capturing the moments that are special to you.


The most important thing to think about is You. You are priority and you must remember to focus on you from time to time. A Spring Clean of your diet and lifestyle can make a huge difference to how you feel about yourself. Challenge yourself to eat more fresh vegetables and fruit instead of processed food, try out that new fitness class that you’ve been thinking about, or simply take some time out for you alone with a book, bath or a walk.


Each day, begin to consciously stop, take a breath and clear your mind. This will help to refresh to continue to deal with the day ahead. Learn or try something new or do something that scares you each week, and you will feel the difference in yourself.
